I first visited Barbara in December 2020 just as the shop opened again after the second lockdown. Our wedding was in July 2021 and it was a very stressful experience not knowing if it could all go ahead but Barbara did everything she could to make me feel calm even when things were very uncertain. Thank you so much for making me feel like a beautiful bride. I'd highly recommend Barbara!
Seriously cannot recommend this bridal shop enough… being plus size normal (hate that word) bridal shop stock maybe 2-3 in that they class as plus size… I was like a kid in a sweet shop here. I could try on any dress I saw. Felt at ease and welcomed like I was the only person that mattered. I travel 2 hrs each way but it’s so worth it. Thank you
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at About a Bride! Barbara was so helpful and after trying a couple of dresses she knew exactly which ones to show me. The shop works on an appointment only basis meaning you get the shop and Barbara to yourself which is such a lovely experience. I felt comfortable and at ease the whole time .My dress was stunning and I felt like a princess on my wedding day in May 2021! Thank you!
