I spent weeks looking for a tradesman on check-a-trade and mybuilder to fix the issue of bridging over the damp proof course, replastering internal walls, a bathroom renovation and building an extension. I found Rocksure Building Services whom do not subscribe to check-a-trade or mybuilder etc, and do not have many reviews. So I was little unsure of whether to use them, but I am very glad I did. Roy, the project manager came round on time, he did not try to up-sell, emailed me the quote within 1 days, and started 2 days later at my request.

Plastering works (carried out by Richard) were due to take 4 days due to other jobs they had on, but they knew we were in a hurry to get it finished with an impending moving-in date, so worked longer days and finished a day early. Richard was very friendly and helpful, and gave good advice on DIY I was carrying out myself.

Damp proof course works (carried out by Gee) were completed on time and to a very good standard, as was the fitting and repositioning of air bricks below the floor (a previously botched job). They even repaired my broken pathway.

I previously had two plumbers lined up to start the bathroom work that week, and they both let me down last minute with regards to start dates. Luckily Gee, who completed the DCP works, is also a plumber, managed to work it in around his other jobs. We are very happy with the bathroom - it looks better then we could have expected!

Richard helped re-slate a broken fireplace board, I had no tools or experience, but he took some time out to help me out. Probably saved me a lot of time and money buying things I did not need.

Gee took time out to help me take the front door and fridge doors (an American style fridge which was way too big-always measure first!) off to get it into the kitchen and even helped carry some heavy furniture upstairs.

I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for someone in the Croydon/South/Southwest London area to carry out work in a timely and professional manner. They were all very friendly and keen to help out with any questions I had, and went above and beyond their official roles to help me and my family.
