Super cottage with stunning views. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived and the welcoming touches were great and much appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped, the lounge is cosy (complete with log burner, logs and kindling), bed is comfy, and the top deck is great with beautiful views. The Heron Inn pub is 2 doors down and well worth a visit. Parking can be tricky sometimes (parallel parking skills put to the test!). There isn't a washing machine or a freezer compartment in the fridge, but these are minor details. The location is very quiet and peaceful - a great base for exploring Cornwall. Highly recommend and will definitely re-book :)

Amazing river views in lovely cottage. Very cosy with the wood fire burning and an ideal short stay with our toddler daughter and dog. We stayed at Philip’s place just before the start of the second lockdown. He was really great at communicating throughout given the uncertainties posed by the new rules. He was also reasonably flexible with us as we decided what to do. The place was clean and tidy and very comfortable. The layout was a bit tricky with a toddler as her room is right off the creaky staircase and beside the bathroom but it didn’t cause any problems for us. Would definitely recommend it and stay again.
