Tell us about the staff and their roles?
Newsham Park Guest House consists of 3 staff, including myself (Jim Mcfayden). On a day-to-day basis we can be seen catering for guests in any way we can, providing clean, comfortable accommodation. As the guest house owner I take care of all business, checking visitors in and out, and making sure their stay is as good as it can possibly be. I have two experienced chefs who can whip you up a delicious full english breakfast to help you start the day properly.
Can you tell us more about how and when Newsham Park Guest House was established and how this came about?
I moved to Liverpool in the year 2000, which means I have been running Newsham Park for around 15 years now. I love Liverpool and the people of Liverpool, and by running Newsham Park I have the opportunity to embrace the Liverpool culture and meet new people everyday.
What tasks do you deal with on a daily basis?
Cleaning the 15 rooms, dealing with visitor requests, fixing anything that might have accidently been damaged... I make sure everything is where it should be and that everyone staying here has a smile on their face.
Accommodation needs to be comfortable and clean ready for the next guests to check in, and this is something I take care of daily.

Newsham Park Guest House is perfectly positioned for anyone visiting Liverpool. Through the week we welcome business men and women from all over the country, and over the weekend we will usually play host to people attending stag do’s, hen do’s, or football matches hosted in the local Liverpool area.
We are famous for our Liverpool Haven which is decorated with sporting memorabilia and football related decor. We have a fully stocked bar, pool table and darts board to keep guests entertained throughout their visit.
