At D3 Creative our teams boasts; qualified Graphic Designers (with BTEC First in Design, BTEC National in Graphic Design qualifications and a joined 30+ years of experience in the print, design, signage and the web industry), a Qualified and a (fresh of the government scheme) Digital Print Operative Apprentice, as well as the other lovely helping hands that help you with your Quotes, Take your Payments and make you a nice cup of tea when you visit! We recently outgrew our last premises and have moved into exciting (still in working progress) new premises, which we hope to fill up with (new and existing) lovely visiting clients, new team members AND more of the latest technology… we have big plans for continual growth, watch this space!
How long has your business been established?
We have been established for 15 years; initially based in Hertfordshire, with a short move to North London. It didn’t take D3 Creative long to make the move to Essex and settle down, this is where the business rapidly grew with the help of local continual business and support. With the launch of our new fully optimised website launch we are fast becoming a noticeable brand and solution for business’s locally and nationally for all print, design, signage, web and social media needs; this is a sure way for us to continue our story of success and forever grow our client base.
Tell us more about what you do on a daily basis?
We work on different projects on a daily basis, no day ever being the same. The large format printer will be whirring away producing high quality wallpaper graphics for a restaurant grand launch. The digital press will be non stop firing out pricelists and appointment card prints for the beauty shop round the corner. The digital print operative is running from one machine to another; loading rolls of vinyl on the gerber to produce labels for a global electronic component company, then to the finishing bench folding, boxing and packing leaflets, then at the guillotine cutting business cards down to size.
The Graphic Design studio is where the real magic happens; everyone is buzzing with ideas, clients are popping in with new briefs, websites are being created in one corner and logo branding is being designed in the other. The phones are ringing and emails are going back and forth with new jobs and existing customers re-ordering or starting new and exciting projects. Designs are being approved and made print/web ready and there is a customer satisfaction aurora in the air.
The sign fitters are out sign fitting vehicle livery to a new fleet of vans for a national overnight delivery company, with their almost impossible strict schedule of times always being completed on time and with client satisfaction. There are quotes being fired out for new jobs as quickly as the phones are ringing again with new enquiries, then there are our favourite phone calls and emails - those that are ringing up with compliments, approvals and payment. The deliveries keep coming with all the lithographic high run prints; 10,000 flyers,1000 NCR triplicate pads, 25,000 carrier bags – these sit and wait for collection in our new reception area. Then sometimes we might stop for a cup of tea!

We have recently invested in a new Digital Press and a Large Format Printer always trying to increase our offering and reduce pricing by not outsourcing where possible. There isn’t much we can’t produce in terms of; print, design, signage or web, we would love to throw ideas and pricing around with you should you be in the market for any of those items.
As we are fast approaching the end of the 2014 we are delighted with the companies progression this year and all excited for our Christmas breaks, meantime there is no rest for the wicked; we are working on 2015 calendars, 2015 diaries, wall charts and greeting cards as well as lots of design, web and print for projects that are looking to launch in the new year.
