Austin Luce started around 70 years ago from a background in church furniture and commemorative plaques and memorials. At the time the demand was high as a result of the the two wars. The company offers a bespoke service using both traditional and modern methods. We have always worked to a very high standard and trained many craftsmen through our apprenticeship program. We have been involved in some of the most interesting and prestigious projects such as Zaha Hadid and Westminster Palace.
Most of our work is nationwide so we have a busy design office preparing layouts and quotes for approval. The final jobs are sent by courier or some signs such as Shop facia signs or larger contracts are installed by us on site.
It is always rewarding to create signs that reflect the identity and style of our customers. A good image and great signs can raise the profile of a business and be one of the most cost effective forms of marketing and advertising a company can have. It is a good feeling knowing our signs have so much value to our customers.
Nearly every business needs our services occasionally from simple directional signs to logo or main entrance signs. We work a lot with Medical practices, Schools and Colleges, Hotels and Restaurants, Architects and High Street Shops and Businesses. We have a reputation for traditional techniques such as cast Bronze and Brass nameplates. We also work a lot with the exciting new methods and materials such as LED illumination.
We currently have an offer on our Lustele nameplates. Lustele is our brand of nameplates that look like polished Brass but do not required regular polishing!
